Identity files live under `/brand/shaughv/`; the Shaughnessy crests live under `/brand/crests/`. Link them. Do not redraw the mark or recrop a figurine unless you are producing a new named asset.

## Wordmark

The static fallback when the animated mark is not loaded.

![Official SHAUGHV wordmark](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/wordmark.svg)

SHAUGHV-Official.svg

```html
<img
  src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/shaughv/logos/SHAUGHV-Official.svg"
  alt="SHAUGHV"
/>
```

On dark surfaces, invert the SVG with CSS rather than shipping a second file:

```css
.wordmark-on-olive {
  filter: brightness(0) invert(1);
}
```

## Favicons

The pair follows the visitor's color scheme: dark mark on light browser chrome, light mark on dark chrome.

<div class="cdn-swatch-row">
  <div class="cdn-swatch" style="background:#fafaf8;color:#5c5446;">
    ![Dark SHAUGHV favicon](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/favicon-dark.svg)
    <strong>Dark favicon</strong>
    <small>Light scheme</small>
  </div>
  <div class="cdn-swatch" style="background:#5c5446;color:#f5f5f0;">
    ![Light SHAUGHV favicon](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/favicon-light.svg)
    <strong>Light favicon</strong>
    <small>Dark scheme</small>
  </div>
</div>

```html
<link rel="icon" href="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/shaughv/favicons/SHAUGHV-Favicon-Dark.svg" media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)">
<link rel="icon" href="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/shaughv/favicons/SHAUGHV-Favicon-Light.svg" media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)">
```

Alternate marks also exist:

- `SHAUGHV-Favicon-Dark-Alt.svg`
- `SHAUGHV-Favicon-Light-Alt.svg`

## Figurines

Transparent WebP files sit on cream, color, or photography without a baked-in background.

Transparent set under /brand/shaughv/figurines/transparent/.

![Figurine of Shaughv pointing at his vintage Mac.](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/figurine-look-at-this.webp)

figurine-look-at-this.webp

![SHAUGHV figurine header pose.](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/figurine-header.webp)

figurine-header.webp

![SHAUGHV figurine with mail.](/blume-assets/content/docs/images/figurine-mail.webp)

figurine-mail.webp

```html
<img
  src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/shaughv/figurines/transparent/figurine-look-at-this.webp"
  alt="Figurine of Shaughv pointing at his vintage Mac."
/>
```

Non-transparent counterparts live one directory up, for cases that already provide a solid stage.

## Shaughnessy crests

Both owner-supplied SVGs are hosted unchanged, preserving their original filenames and scalable artwork. Use the standard crest or its monochrome companion as appropriate for the surface. Both paths work on either CDN hostname.

<div class="cdn-crest-grid">
  <figure><img src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest.svg" alt="Shaughnessy crest" loading="lazy" /><figcaption>Shaughnessy Crest</figcaption></figure>
  <figure><img src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest-Mono.svg" alt="Monochrome Shaughnessy crest" loading="lazy" /><figcaption>Shaughnessy Crest — Mono</figcaption></figure>
</div>

| Asset | Direct SVG |
| --- | --- |
| Crest | [Shaughnessy-Crest.svg](https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest.svg) |
| Monochrome crest | [Shaughnessy-Crest-Mono.svg](https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest-Mono.svg) |

```html
<img src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest.svg" alt="Shaughnessy crest" width="240" />
<img src="https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest-Mono.svg" alt="Monochrome Shaughnessy crest" width="240" />
```

The manifest exposes their exact URLs and ready-to-use image embeds under `tree.brand.crests`. These are brand assets; public access does not grant redistribution rights.

## Portfolio footer example

The [footer lockup guide](/footer-lockup) shows the crest beside the main wordmark using the actual proportions from `shaughv_vintage`. That project uses a strengthened mono derivative for small display; it is hosted separately as [Shaughnessy-Crest-Footer.svg](https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/Shaughnessy-Crest-Footer.svg), leaving both supplied originals unchanged. [Machine-readable crest metadata](https://cdn.shaughv.com/brand/crests/crest-info.json) records the relationships, checksums, and layout values.

Use either footer example as shown or customize its layout, spacing, typography, colors, navigation, and copyright placement to fit the site's current theme. Keep both logos in the footer and preserve their relative sizing and individual aspect ratios when scaling the pair up or down. The example dimensions and black-and-white presentation are reference values, not fixed sizes or a required palette.
